Collectors FAQ
A calm overview of how Private View, resale, offers, documents and logistics work inside the ArtBerry environment.
Private View
What is ArtBerry Private View?
ArtBerry Private View is an invite-only environment for selected collectors. It offers curated access to works from our partner network and, where enabled, private resale opportunities.
Is the platform public?
No. Access is private and invitation-based.
What can I do inside the platform?
You can browse curated works, save works to your shortlist, message your advisor privately, and, where enabled, inquire on or offer for selected resale listings.
What is the Collector Signal?
Collector Signal is an orientation layer. It summarizes network traction and position movement over time. It is not a price estimate and not investment advice.
What is Market Context?
Market Context is a compact summary of public-market reference data such as sale recency, auction depth, sell-through and normalized price context. It is provided for orientation only.
Are all works immediately available?
Not always. Availability can vary by source, timing and approval status. If a work is marked available, you can inquire directly. If a work is on hold or price-on-request, your advisor will guide you.
Resale
What happens when I inquire?
Your inquiry is routed privately to ArtBerry and your advisor. We then coordinate next steps, including access, documentation, logistics and, where relevant, offer handling.
Can I make an offer?
On selected resale listings, yes. Offers are handled discreetly. Depending on the listing, counteroffers may be possible.
Offers
How many offer rounds are possible?
In the current model, negotiations are structured and limited. Once terms are agreed, the price is fixed and the negotiation is closed.
Will my identity be visible?
Not by default. Buyer and seller identities remain controlled and are only revealed according to the deal and compliance workflow.
Documents
Can I see documents immediately?
Not always. Condition reports, provenance notes, invoices and shipping documents may be revealed in stages depending on listing settings and the current stage of the deal.
Shipping
How is shipping handled?
Shipping is coordinated through ArtBerry and its partner network. Shipping, insurance and any duties or taxes are handled separately from the artwork price unless explicitly stated otherwise.
When is a work shipped?
As a rule, shipping is only released after funds have been confirmed.
When is a seller paid?
The payout workflow is completed only after delivery and acceptance according to the agreed timeline.
